A very good friend of ours from my old college has just put up a trailer for his first feature film. The movie is called Ante Up and will be premiering at Walt Disney Studios in the end of may 2007. Check out the trailer below.
Also if you feel like trying out the new web TV service Joost go here to get a free invite. Be warned that it’s a pretty crappy service though. Not much innovation imho.
Update: May 13, 2007 Don’t bother rocking the link above as it seems all the invites are gone. Post a comment here if you still want one and I’ll see what I can do to get one.
I know, I know 2 music posts in a row but I can’t believe I forgot this. This has got to be one of the most important releases this year so far! Featuring Morgan Rose, one of the top 100 drummers of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.
Hellyeah is a heavy metal supergroup featuring members of Pantera, Mudvayne, Nothingface, and Damageplan. The members of the band include former Pantera/Damageplan drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott, current Mudvayne members in vocalist Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett, as well as Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell.
Theres a new release of the Kaccordion Multipack on the download page so hurry up and go grab it.
It’s now based of off jQuery and interface instead of MooTools as I think it’s a better framework.
New features:
Improved accordion markup and animation.
Fancy draggable content windows.
Plain draggable content with ghosting.
A nice imagebox.
Cool image reflections like the ones on this page.
Smooth scrolling action.
I have briefly tested this in Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7 and everything seems to work great. If you do find any bugs or have ideas for new features or just want to tell me how extremely good looking I am feel free to shoot me an email.
Also I’ve set up a demo page to show off the new and cool stuff you can do with this.
So B & I had our 5 year anniversary yesterday. I had the whole day planned out for her as a surprise. We woke up and I made her breakfast in bed. Then we went to the Getty Center which is beautiful. After we spent a few hours there I took her to the Ivy on Roberston Blvd. It’s actually voted among the top 10 best restaurants in Los Angeles and I gotta say that we were both very impressed. The food was excellent, probably the best we’ve had all year. Then we jotted down 3rd street and cruised around the Beverly Center were I got a couple of polo shirts. Last but not least we hit Melrose Avenue and then we went home. B was very happy about the entire thing which is good since that’s what matters to me. Pictures will be up in the gallery over the weekend.
The day has finally arrived. I’ve completed the new photo gallery for this site. It’s entirely made in xHTML, CSS and JavaScript, no Flash or the likes are used so it doesn’t require the user to download anything.
Features:
Dynamic generation of menu.
Displays when each gallery section was updated last.
If you can think of anything else shoot me an email and maybe I’ll get it in there at some point.
The whole thing weighs about 15kb and by compressing it with Dojo Shrinksafe I got it down to about 9kb so don’t be a wiener and complain about the size.
Bear in mind that this code is very new and some glitches may occur. If they do please shoot me an email explaining the problem and how it happened and of course the browser (including version) you used.
Woot! I just passed the Ridercourse today and have gotten my motorcycle license. Now to ponder about which bike to get when i get home to Denmark. Right now I have three different ones in mind.
1. D.K.W. like my granddad used to have when he was young, it’s very very cool.
2. Or of course a Suzuki GSX R 600 which is a super nice bike but I might not be able to pay for the insurance.
3. The ultimate, a Ducati 1098 but I might not be able to pay for the bike OR the insurance.
